I’ve worked with images my entire adult life. Following 13 years on the picture desk at the Herald/Sunday Herald/Evening Times, where I earned a crust and learned my craft, I turned freelance in 2007. Since then I've photographed people, places and events throughout Scotland and beyond.
I shoot for corporate, industrial and PR clients – a few are listed below – and for the sheer pleasure of it. You'll find some examples in the Galleries on this site.
Many things have changed during my time as a freelance photographer and digital allows me to shoot and manipulate images in ways I never expected or imagined. Digital photography is a playground for creativity, and endlessly inspiring.
But some things haven’t changed. I can still spend ages waiting for that one perfect shot. I guess I always will.
Whatever your brief, I'll approach it with professionalism and creativity.
